76 viewsMy vest number from the Bristol Half Marathon, September 2004. My finishing time: 1:59:45. Well, screw you, I thought it was pretty good.

53 viewsMy vest number from the 2004 Nailsea 10K. My finishing time: 51:38. And local TV weatherman Tony Targett was a course marshal.

62 viewsEngland v Australia, Ashes 2nd Test, Edgbaston, Birmingham, 7 Aug 2005. Only 2 hours or so of play, but no shortage of buttock-clenching excitement. England won by 2 runs.

tkt008.jpg
49 viewsBristol v Wasps, Memorial Stadium, 19 Feb 2006. It was a 9-9 draw. The main attraction was seeing Tom Voyce getting his teeth kneed out by Lee Robinson.

56 viewsBristol v Newcastle Falcons, 9 Apr 2006. Bristol won 23-7.
tkt010.jpg
60 viewsEngland v Sri Lanka, day 3, Lord's, 13 May 2006. Got the ticket for FREE from my brother-in-law Ray, spent the day watching Sri Lanka getting bowled out and following on (the match eventually finished as a draw), went and met Doug and Anna at Marylebone station, got pissed. Great!

60 viewsStella Artois tennis championships, 18 June 2006. The final, in which Lleyton Hewitt beat James Blake in straight sets. There was then an exhibition match where Goran Ivanisevic beat Michael Stich. All of which would have been much more enjoyable had we not all had monstrous hangovers. A Magnum and two pints of Stella for lunch each helped, though.

67 viewsGloucestershire Gladiators v Somerset Sabres, 7 July 2006. Gloucestershire won by 27 runs. And I ate a load of sausages and drank several pints of Pedigree out of the beer tent.
